I studied electronic engineering, qualifying with a NHD. Electr Eng (LC) (B.Tech) from the Cape Town University of Technology.

In 2009 I was nominated for an Australian Film Institute award for best film sound for a documentary style film, and projects into Africa includes trips to Ghana to record Wycliff Jean, the Africa Youth Games in Zambia and a recent trip to Zimbabwe for Google.
